SANCALP — Reconnect.
Realign. Renew.

Imagine stepping away from everyday demands for a few days. Mornings that begin with movement and breath, conversations that encourage reflection, and experiences that make space for real connection.

SANCALP brings together guided practice, practical learning and personal reflection — so that what you find there is something you can keep.

SANCALP has not run yet. Dates, venue and facilitators are being confirmed, and nothing on this page is a booking.

What SANCALP is.

A facilitated experience, not a programme to complete

Movement, breath, reflection and human connection, held together so that each one supports the others rather than competing for the day.

Practices you can carry home

The measure of the few days is what is still happening a month later, so the practices taught are ones that survive an ordinary week.

Small enough to be a conversation

Group size is kept to the point where people can actually speak and be heard, rather than sit through a series of talks.

An indicative rhythm.

Illustrative — arrival evening plus three days

An arrival evening and three days is the current plan — the shape we are working to, not a published timetable.

  1. 01

    Arrival evening

Settling in, introductions and an opening reflection. No programme on the first night.

  2. 02

    Early morning

Guided yoga and breath practice, taken slowly and taught rather than performed.

  3. 03

    Mid-morning

Movement and physical training pitched to the room, not to the fittest person in it.

  4. 04

    Afternoon

Reflective talks and guided discussion, with time that is genuinely unscheduled.

  5. 05

    Evening

Sound experiences and group connection, closing the day quietly.

  6. 06

    Throughout

Home-practice handouts, so what is learned has a form to go home in.

Aims, not promises.

These are what SANCALP is designed to do. None is a guarantee — nobody can honestly promise you an outcome from a few days.

  • Leave with two or three practices you can actually keep, rather than a long list you cannot.
  • Understand your own patterns of energy, attention and recovery a little more precisely.
  • Spend several days in conversation with people asking similar questions.
  • Have a clear sense of what, if anything, you want to change when you get home.

The questions we cannot fully answer yet.

When and where is SANCALP happening?

Not yet decided. Dates, venue and the final facilitator list are being confirmed, and we would rather say nothing than publish something that changes. Registering interest puts you on the list to hear first.

What does it cost?

Pricing is not set. It will be published here, in full, before anyone is asked to commit to anything.

Do I need to be fit, or to have done yoga before?

No. Movement and breath practice are taught from the beginning and pitched to the people in the room. If you have an injury or a condition that affects movement, tell us when we contact you and we will be honest about whether it suits you.

Is this a medical or therapeutic retreat?

No. SANCALP is a reflective and practical experience, not treatment. It does not replace medical or mental health care, and it is not suitable as a substitute for either. Where something you raise needs a clinician, we will say so.

What happens to the information I give when I register interest?

We ask for a name and a way to contact you, and nothing more. Please do not send medical details at this stage. Our privacy notice explains how enquiries are handled.

Can SANCALP be run for a company?

That is the intention — a corporate version for leadership groups and teams. It is at the same stage as the open retreat: planned, not yet scheduled. Say so when you register interest and we will treat it separately.

Register interest, not a place.

No payment, no commitment — we will write once dates are set. Please keep medical details out of a first message.
